who married Roxanna
Hildibiddle or Hiltibidal in 1847 in Centralia, Marian Co., Illinois. I
know
she was born in Jefferson Co., Illinois but know nothing else about
them.
They are my ggggrandparents, I think. This is in connection with my

I'm looking for record of a William WOOD or his
family in Marion County,
from around 1860-1865. He was born ca1796 in Gloversville, NY. Later he
was
a Presbyterian circuit rider in Arkansas, with the last record of his
being
there as the birth of a son William Thomas WOOD in 1850. Family
tradition
is that he moved the family to Centralia, IL or thereabouts by the
Civil
War. At least 3 of his sons served in IL regiments during the War. He
was
said to have had 30(!) children by two wives, including my 2-gt.

George (b.1820), Harmon and Harrison (twins b.1822), David (1831),
Warren
(1836), Jasper (1841), Morgan (1843), John (1849), and aforementioned

We are looking for information on Mary A. Nelms.
Brinkerhoff says she
settled in Marion Co. 1854 and Died ther in 1897. We have not been able
to find any record of her except in the 1855 Illinois census. She was wife
of Jeremiah Nelms who died in Ste. Genevieve Co. Mo. about 1850. They had
several children among whom were Thomas Archer, Tennessee, Josephine, and

died in Iuka in 1890 and is buried in Millikan Cementary there. I have
the
obituary from Kinmundy byline. Marion County tells me they have no
record
of a certificate. If anyone can tell me how to find a death certificate

was Gladys Lawrence-Squibb.
I have found from 1920 census her parents were S.P. LAWRENCE and Bertha
BURKE.
Their children were JULES, GLADYS, CHARLIE, STERLING AND EDWARD. They
lived
on South Washington Ave. Salem. I believe the S.P. stands for Sterling
Price.

WALIGORSKI DEATH CERTIFICATE reply to

I mailed a letter to the Marion County Clerk office
requesting a copy
of my grand fathers death certificate. His name was Michael (Mike)
Waligorski
(wife's name was Martha) of DuBois who was injured in a coal mining
accident
at the DuBois mine. He was transported from DuBois to St. Mary's
hospital
in Centralia where he died on 9 Jan 1941. This information is from the
Nashville
paper. His death certificate is not in Washington County or Perry
County.
I was told the death certificate would be in the county he died. The
answer
I received for Marion County Clerk was no record. My address is 24722
