Funeral mass for Mrs. Elizabeth W. Shannon, 61; wife of St. Louis Prosecuting Attorney Thomas W. Shannon will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Epiphany Catholic Church, 6598 Smiley Ave. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Mrs. Shannon died Monday, Oct. 4, 1971, at St. Mary's Hospital following a long illness. Mrs. Shannon a native of Centralia, Ill., married Shannon in 1938. She lived with her husband at 7045 Winona Ave. Besides her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Sally Wegmann, Mrs. Kathleen Emerson, Mrs. Sharon Doetzel and Mrs. Carol Anne Huesgen; two sons, Stephen J. and Thomas M. (Mike) Shannon of the St. Louis baseball Cardinals; a brother, Carl Richason of Hollywood, Fla. and 23 grandchildren. Visitation will be at Hoffmeister Colonial Chapel 6464 Chippewa St., after 6 p.m. Wednesday.
